Velvety carpet made of bamboo silk

The beautiful Village rug, made of bamboo silk, offers a very special look, similar to that of viscose rugs . The silky sheen changes depending on the angle of the light, creating a stunning overall composition. Rugs made of bamboo silk not only look velvety, but also impress with their pleasantly soft feel.

This high-quality surface is created using a modern process ( cut & loop) in which the cellulose fibers of the bamboo are removed from the stalk and spun into viscose.

Fibers made from natural raw materials

Since the cellulose fibers are obtained from wood, bamboo silk is a material made from natural raw materials. Viscose is often referred to as bamboo silk because of its special properties.
