High-quality viscose carpet in velvet look
Viscose rugs have a very special surface. The velvety, glossy material shimmers and creates a brilliant appearance. The exclusive velvet look is created during production using the cut-and-loop technique . This process separates the pile and loops in different ways, creating a slightly three-dimensional effect and subtle gradients. Depending on the viewing angle, the rug appears slightly different.
The highlights at a glance:
- Viscose carpets are produced without petroleum and pesticides
- Shiny look
- Velvety soft feel
- Insulates sound and heat
- Viscose is obtained from natural raw materials (wood)
Which rooms are suitable for a viscose carpet?
A viscose rug is particularly effective in larger formats. Shimmering floor coverings are very popular in living rooms or bedrooms. These rugs quickly become eye-catchers. Thanks to their dense, soft pile, viscose rugs also create a truly comfortable experience. The rug can also be used in the dining room, but care should be taken to avoid placing sharp-edged chairs on the rug, as these could damage the material.
Viscose carpets - better for the environment
The beautiful fiber of viscose carpets is extracted and processed from the wood of bamboo, eucalyptus, beech, and spruce trees. The material is therefore based on a natural raw material. Furthermore, petroleum and pesticides are largely avoided in the production of viscose carpets.
Cleaning viscose carpets - tips
Caution is advised when cleaning viscose carpets. These high-quality carpets should only be cleaned in the direction of the fibers to avoid irreparable damage. When vacuuming, a special attachment should be used to protect the material. Stains are best removed with water, dishwashing liquid, or vinegar. We have listed further cleaning tips in our material glossary .
