Sisal Carpet Made of 100% Natural Materials

This sisal carpet, consisting entirely of plant fibers, is an innovation from the DEKOWE brand. Instead of glue, finely woven sisal is mechanically bonded to the natural fiber fleece using a special needling process. The fleece itself consists of kenaf, hemp fibers, and a small proportion of sisal, which is obtained from recycled coffee bags.

The fleece backing also increases insulation against room and impact sound and further improves walking comfort. Since the fleece replaces the classic rubber padding here, there is no risk of the later fleece aging and eventually sticking to the subfloor.
